The Practice Leader (PL) is responsible for the development of their respective practice. The objective is to build the practice into a standalone, sustainable profit center. As this objective develops, the PL will increasingly assume managerial and strategic responsibilities.
Initially, the PL will function and be paid much like a classical producer. However, from the start, investment of time, money, expertise, and strategic oversight will be allocated by agency leadership to support the development of the practice, ensuring the manageable growth of the practice.

Business / Practice Development:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of commercial lines business development experience and an ability to co-draft a Practice Business Plan with agency leadership. Compensation will be subject to experience but Erwin’s structure includes base + commission arrangements. Once the practice matures, overrides, growth bonuses, and/or profit share arrangements will become a part of the compensation.
